Researchers have devised a new approach for producing high-efficiency lead halide perovskite solar cells to combat these problems. This is because it provides for simultaneous improvement of efficiency and stability.
Because the team's devices are made at low temperatures of less than 100°C, they constitute a considerable step toward the large-scale application of perovskite solar cells. In addition, the approach is fully applicable to the fabrication of large-area devices takes us one step closer.
The efficiency demonstrated by the team brings perovskite solar cells to new heights. The improved stability and scalability of the revolutionary technique indicate that perovskite solar cells will soon be found on every rooftop.
